Upcoming Information Sessions

Join our Conservation Cemetery staff for Information Sessions and Tours. Staff will meet guests at the Katy Prairie Welcome Center (31975 Hebert) at 10:00 AM to share an informational talk about conservation burial. Following the information session, our team will then lead a caravan to Blazing Star Sanctuary (31930 Morrison) for guided tours of the conservation cemetery grounds.

Staff are also available to schedule private tours of the sanctuary if these dates do not work for your schedule. Email us to schedule a tour for your family or group.

Nature's Burial First Annual Remembrance Day Celebration

Join our Conservation Cemetery staff for the first annual Remembrance Day at Blazing Star Sanctuary. We will gather to honor those who have been laid to rest at Blazing Star and have chosen a legacy of land and wildlife protection. The day will include nature walks, refreshments, bluegrass music, family-led plantings at burial plots, seed stomping, bird watching, and a quiet remembrance time for families to spend together. Those with friends or family buried at Blazing Star will be invited to speak as part of the program.
